1:22 pm Parx (Race 2) – Expensive Style 2/1
Has placed second on all three starts since winning a claiming event over six furlongs on the main track at Delaware Park in July. Most recent of those efforts came when beaten one-and-a-half-lengths over the same track and trip just under a month ago. Gets a welcome drop in grade for this contest and with Paco Lopez booked to ride he is taken to score on his first start here following a 49.60 four furlong breeze at Delaware Park.
1:49 pm Parx (Race 3) – Absolute Anna 8/5
Debut winner at Los Alamitos in December and registered a second career success when triumphing over a mile-and-one-sixteenth at Monmouth Park in August. Drew five-and-three-quarter-lengths clear of her rivals that day and the daughter of Raison d’Etat but disappointed in allowance company subsequently. The marked drop in grade returning to a claiming contest here is a positive and she is taken to register a victory having advertised her wellbeing with a 48.65 four furlong breeze here last week.
3:37 pm Parx (Race 7) – Milton The Monster 9/5
All bar one of his eight previous starts have come at this venue including when runner-up in an allowance event over six furlongs on dirt last month. Had previously finished third in a similar contest over a mile-and-seventy yards. The front two drew well clear of the rest of the field in his most recent outing and with that in mind he looks capable of doubling his career tally on his first start in an allowance optional claimer.
