12:40 Parx (Race 1) – Petulant Delight 6/1 (1-star play)
The veteran performer registered his 11th victory at this venue when delivering a three-and-a-half-length success on a good main track over this distance at the start of March. While the gelding has failed to shine in two subsequent start it’s notable that those efforts came over further. The pick has rejoined the Mario A Dominguez barn since that latest effort and back down in trip the son of First Dude looks capable of providing jockey Dexter haddock with a winner.
2:28 Parx (Race 5) – Sing Scat 8/5 (2-star play)
The Irish War Cry filly showed good form in a couple of $25,000 maiden claiming contests on turf at Gulfstream Park earlier this year. The selection placed second on each occasion including over a mile-and-one-sixteenth in February. The three-year-old came home thirteen-and-a-quarter-lengths fourth over a mile in a $30,000 maiden claimer on the main track when debuting for Jamie Ness at Laurel and returning to turf she is selected to break her maiden dropping down in grade.
4:20 Parx (Race 9) – Lord Of The Navy 2/1 (2-star play)
The three-year-old fetched $165,000 as a yearling at the Keeneland September Yearling Sale in 2021 but failed to shine when last of eight over a mile-and-one-sixteenth on turf in a maiden special weight at Saratoga on debut in August. A switch the main track saw a marked improvement in form with the selection drawing eight-and-three-quarter-lengths clear of her rivals over seven furlongs here last month. Has delivered some impressive works since and looks capable of following up.
