2:52 pm Parx (Race 7) – Flashing Diamond 8/5
A 14-time winner in her career thus far, Jacinto Solis’s six-year-old is a consistent performer and should be very tough to beat at this level. She’s won four times at Parx in 2021, most recently when taking a $42,000 starter allowance race. Four subsequent starts haven’t been fruitful for win purposes, but she was runner up in a better race for the grade last time, pulling eleven lengths clear with the winner. If she can replicate that form from the inside draw, she won’t be for catching.
3:46 pm Parx Race 9 – Alice Harper 7/2
Finishing a promising third on debut at Parx in September, she took a big step forward to score over track and distance one month later. She repelled all her rivals in comfortable fashion, including Alrashaka, who reopposes today. She has the ideal draw in stall one and Mychel Sanchez should get the run of the race thanks to her early pace. If she turns in front, she’ll be very difficult to stop as she faces winners for the first time.
4:13 pm Parx (Race 10) – Party in the Sand 9/2
This daughter of Desert Party arrives in great form, winning in this grade over slightly shorter in September. She posted a similar figure back at Parx last time, finishing second to a smart rival who was given the run of the race. She finished clear in second, which boosts the form, and there are no standout rivals in her way on this occasion. Retaining the services of Luis RIvera is an obvious positive and with a good pace to chase, she can pick up the leaders in the closing stages.
