Los Angeles Rams vs. New Orleans Saints Playoff Prop Bets

One of the often forgotten parts of betting is prop bets and there is usually a lot of value, as long as you pick the right prop bets to use. With there being only two football games this weekend each of the games has a ton of prop bets to pick from. Let’s breakdown some of the Rams vs. New Orleans Saints Playoff Prop Bets that could be making you more money on Sunday.

More receiving yards Woods or Thomas (Thomas -190)

I know that -190 is a lot of juice to be laying but even at this price, it’s hard not to lay a good chunk of change on Michael Thomas.

Michael Thomas had a monster week in his last game against the Philadelphia Eagles and he has already torched the Rams once this season. In the first meeting this year Thomas had 12 receptions for 211 yards and one touchdown. For Woods, his season high is 109 yards receiving and that was the only game that he finished with more than 100 yards receiving this year.

Longest Touchdown scored under 45.5 yards (-120)

These are both teams that can really air it out but this is the playoffs now and the field is going to really tighten up. The Saints as of late have been throwing less long balls and have been really trying to attack the middle of the field.

In the Rams game against the Cowboys their longest touchdown was 35 yards and for the Saints their longest was a two-yard pass to Michael Thomas.

Total Yards Receiving Tyler Higbee over 19.5 (-120)

This might not be the most appealing pick because a lot of people haven’t heard of Tyler Higbee but there is value in this pick.

Higbee at times has been inconsistent but he is always good for at least one catch. In the last two games he has had 36 yards and 30 yards respectively and I think with this number set at 19.5 there is a lot of value.

First Touchdown of the game – Rushing (+235)

With two teams that like to pass it would make sense that it would be a pass touchdown, but when these two teams get into the redzone they actually usually lean on the run. The Rams have CJ Anderson and Todd Gurley and if they are within the five yard line it might be the CJ Anderson show.

For the Saints they have Mark Ingram, Alvin Kamara and Taysom Hill who are all really trusted inside the red zone. I am not as confident in this bet but with the odds sitting at +235, there is so much value that it is worth the gamble.

Alvin Kamara Over 100.5 Rushing and Receiving Yards (-120)

Alvin Kamara usually finishes right around the 100 total yards mark and in this game there is a lot of value with the over. When the Rams and Saints played earlier this year Kamara finished with 116 yards and that is where I expect him to finish in this one. He is going to be a big threat out of the backfield and at -120 you are getting a lot of good value.
