After a long and eventful offseason, the 2025 college football season is finally here. We have a loaded slate on the docket on Saturday, and arguably the highlight of the day is a game between LSU and Clemson at 7:30 pm ET on ABC. LSU had a tough season last year, coming up short against its rivals and failing to make the College Football Playoff once again in the Brian Kelly era. On the other side, Clemson enters this season with sky-high expectations following an appearance in the College Football Playoff a season ago.
With so much intrigue in this Week 1 game of the 2025 college football season, a LSU vs Clemson Same Game Parlay is in order. Here are my favorite parlay picks for this matchup; let’s end Week 1 with a big winner!

Clemson Tigers ML over LSU Tigers (-185)
After a disappointing 2024 campaign, LSU underwent a number of changes on defense in the offseason, but the results might not come for Blake Baker’s unit in Week 1, especially when thrust into a matchup against this deep and talented Clemson offense. Cade Klubnik leads the way for the Tigers and he should be in a position to succeed behind an experienced offensive line and the tremendous wide receiver trio of TJ Moore, Bryant Wesco Jr., and Antonio Williams.
On the other side of the ball, Clemson brings back nearly 80% of its production from 2024, including a pair of future first round picks in TJ Parker and Peter Woods on the defensive line. And while Garrett Nussmeier and the LSU offense should see some success in the passing game, the trench play is where Clemson should hold the biggest advantage on Saturday. After all, LSU has some significant pieces to replace on the offensive line and it’s far from a guarantee that the Tigers will have the right line combinations sorted out in the opening game of the season. Add in the fact that this should be an incredible raucous environment, and it’s hard to see LSU not stumbling a few times due to communication issues and inexperience. Let’s back Clemson on the money line under the lights.

Under 57.5 (-110)
Given the fact that we’re getting a couple of massive nationally-recognized brands and two of the best quarterbacks in the nation facing off against each other, the over will be a popular play on Saturday night. However, my inclination is to fade that notion and back the under in Death Valley. While Clemson’s offense could certainly be the most successful unit in this game on paper, there is a real possibility that Blake Baker’s defense is a fair bit better than it was a season ago and that the visitors surprise Clemson a bit with their improvements on that side of the ball right out of the gate.
The visitors could suffer from a different problem, as even though the LSU passing offense should be elite from the opening week this season, the Tigers really have to prove it me from a situational standpoint. Lastly, given the talent and depth on defense with Tom Allen at the controls, it’s hard to see Clemson giving up points in bunches in this massive clash of the titans.

Antonio Williams anytime touchdown scorer (+100)
Despite all of the high-level talent on display in this battle of the Tigers, Antonio Williams will be one of the best players on the field, and we project him to have a major impact in this one. The Clemson wideout should be one of the top players in the nation at his position this fall, and we can expect him to get plenty of targets in this game against an LSU secondary that needs to show major improvement following a couple of very poor seasons against the pass. Given the fact that Williams recorded 11 touchdowns a season ago, let’s take the top Clemson wide receiver to find the end zone on Saturday.
