One of the biggest games on Sunday’s MLB slate comes on the west coast, where the San Francisco Giants will host the New York Mets in this series finale on Sunday Night Baseball. The Giants haven’t exactly been a consistent side over the past few weeks, and San Francisco is certainly not in good form heading into this matchup, having dropped 8 of its last 10 games to fall out of the final NL wild-card spot. On the other side, the Mets have won 6 consecutive contests, and they are looking to complete a sweep and maintain a slight lead in the NL East over the charging Philadelphia Phillies.

To add a little more excitement to this matchup, I have pieced together my Mets vs Giants Same Game Parlay picks at +460 odds. You can also get MLB picks on the side and total for Sunday’s big matchups.

Mets ML (-125)

Matt Chapman to record 2+ total bases (+165)

Mets vs Giants Same Game Parlay odds: +460

Mets ML (-125)

To start off our Mets vs Giants Same Game Parlay, we’ll go with the Mets to wrap up this series with a victory. New York has seemingly found its mojo again following the All-Star break, as the Mets have rattled off wins in 7 of their last 10 games, including series victories over the Angels, and now the Giants. The bats have woken up for New York, putting up 26 runs over its last 5 games, while surrendering just 12 runs in that span. New York should keep rolling on Sunday with Kodai Senga (1.79 ERA) getting the start, and he’s allowed just 8 runs over his last 6 outings, with most of those starts clearing 5 innings. With San Francisco opting to go with a bullpen game on the other side, it’s hard to see a myriad of Giants relievers holding down the Mets for the full game.

Matt Chapman to record 2+ total bases (+165)

For our second and final leg in our Same Game Parlay, let’s go with Matt Chapman to record 2+ total bases. The Giants third baseman is in the midst of another rock solid campaign at the plate, and his success has continued into this past week, as he has reached base 12 times and recorded 9 hits over the last 8 games. Chapman has already racked up 8 hits over the past week, and he’ll be facing a pitcher in Senga that he does have an extra-base hit against in 1 of his 2 plate appearances versus the right-hander. Ultimately, we’re getting a solid number with Chapman to register 2 or more total bases for the sixth time in the last 7 contests. I’ll bank on the veteran slugger to keep things going at the dish, boosting our parlay.
