One of the biggest games on Sunday’s MLB slate comes on the east coast, where the Philadelphia Phillies will host the New York Mets in a battle for supremacy in the National League East on Sunday Night Baseball. The Phillies haven’t exactly been a consistent side over the past few weeks, but Philadelphia is in the midst of a good run of form recently, having climbed back into a tie atop the division heading into Sunday’s matchup. On the other side, the Mets are just 3-7 over their last 10 games, and New York could really use a win to give it a bit of a spark following this disappointing stretch.

To add a little more excitement to this matchup, I have pieced together my Mets vs Phillies Same Game Parlay picks at +435 odds. You can also get MLB picks on the side and total for Sunday’s big matchups.

Under 9.5 (-115)

Alec Bohm to record 2+ hits (+150)

Mets vs Phillies Same Game Parlay odds: +435

Under 9.5 (-115)

To start off our Mets vs Phillies Same Game Parlay, we’ll go with the Under 9.5 at Citizens Bank Park. These teams are pretty evenly matched, and the same can be said for both starting pitchers in Sunday’s matchup. David Peterson will get the ball for the Mets, and he’s posted a 2.60 ERA on the season, to go along with top marks in ground ball rate (58.2%) and barrel rate (5.2%). He should have a solid matchup at hand against a Phillies lineup that doesn’t have much success against him historically. As for the hosts, Philadelphia will send out Jesus Luzardo for this series finale, and the southpaw’s expected metrics (3.54 xERA, top 25 percentile whiff rate and barrel rate) are a lot kinder than what the full season ERA would suggest. I’ll back the under on Sunday Night Baseball for our first leg.

Alec Bohm to record 2+ hits (+150)

For our second and final leg in our Same Game Parlay, let’s go with Alec Bohm to record 2+ hits. Bohm is in the midst of another rock solid campaign at the plate, and his success has continued into this past week, as he has reached base 19 times and recorded 15 hits over the last 10 games. Bohm has already racked up 3 hits in 8 plate appearances in this series, and he’ll be facing a pitcher in Peterson that he has excellent career numbers against (.354 batting average, .654 SLG). Ultimately, we’re getting a solid number with Bohm to register 2 or more hits for the sixth time in the last 10 contests. I’ll bank on the right-hander to keep things going at the dish.
