The last day of the 2025 Major League Baseball regular season is upon us. We are, of course, graced with a 15-game lineup on finale Sunday. It includes Tigers vs Red Sox, Rangers vs Guardians, Reds vs Brewers, Diamondbacks vs Padres and Dodgers vs Mariners. The Pickswise team is on an 45-29 run in this MLB best bets series. Let’s build on that momentum and hopefully deliver some more winners today!

MLB best bet: Tampa Bay Rays vs Toronto Blue Jays Under 7.5 (+105)

It all comes down to this for the Blue Jays. They are tied with the Yankees atop the AL East heading into the final game of the regular season. Toronto owns the tiebreaker, so it clinches the division with a victory regardless of how New York fares against Baltimore. A playoff-like atmosphere will be on display at the Rogers Centre, and – as everyone knows – playoff games tend to be on the low-scoring side.

That should certainly be the case with Toronto’s Kevin Gausman and Tampa Bay’s Ian Seymour on the mound. Gausman scuffled a bit against Boston earlier this week (4 runs in 5.2 innings), but he had been dominant prior to that outing. The veteran righty had allowed just 3 runs in his previous 4 starts across 30.0 innings, a stretch that saw him compile a 28-to-4 strikeout-to-walk ratio. Seymour has given up just 7 total earned runs in his last 6 appearances spanning 30.1 innings. The 26-year-old lefty faced the Blue Jays last Wednesday and did not yield a single earned run in 7.0 innings of work.

MLB best bet: Baltimore Orioles vs New York Yankees Under 8.5 (+100)

Odds available at DraftKings Sportsbook at time of publishing

In the same situation as Toronto, New York is handing the ball to Luis Gil. That is most definitely good news for the home team, as Gil is 4-1 with a 3.29 ERA since joining the rotation in August. In his last 9 outings, the 27-year-old righty has given up more than 2 runs only once. In Gil’s last 6 appearances, the game has produced more than 6 runs just once. Meanwhile, a disappointing Baltimore club has begun its final series of 2025 with a mere 5 runs scored through 2 games. In its last 6 losses, the Orioles have scored more than 2 runs only once.

The O’s are countering with Kyle Bradish, which means the Yankees are also unlikely to score much on Sunday. Bradish is sporting a 2.25 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 39-to-10 strikeout-to-walk ratio in 28.0 innings since beginning his year in late August. The right-hander faced the Yanks in his most recent start last Sunday and befuddled them to the tune of 1 run on 2 hits in 6.0 innings while striking out 9 batters and walking 2.
