MLB best bet: Philadelphia Phillies ML over Baltimore Orioles (-138)
Odds available at FanDuel Sportsbook at time of publishing
The Phillies are 3-1 in their last 4 games after lambasting the Orioles 13-3 in Monday’s series opener. Kyle Schwarber went 3-for-6 with 2 home runs and 6 RBIs; he leads the league with 10 homers since the all-star break. Harrison Bader drove in 3 runs and Edmundo Sosa went 3-for-4 with 3 runs. That kind of production is nothing new for Philadelphia; this club is dangerous up and down the lineup.
More success should be in store for the home team on Tuesday. Taijuan Walker is toeing the rubber for Philly and he is sporting a solid 3.82 ERA. Baltimore is countering with Dean Kremer, who comes in with a 4.27 ERA and has given up 8 earned runs in his past 2 starts (11.0 innings). The Orioles are terrible on the road (24-35), so I expect the Phillies to roll to another victory.

MLB best bet: New York Yankees vs Texas Rangers Under 8.5 (+100)
Odds available at DraftKings Sportsbook at time of publishing
These are borderline dire times for the Yankees. They are 5.5 games behind Toronto in the American League East and 1.5 games away from not even being in a playoff spot. That’s what a 4-game losing streak will do to you at this point in the season. New York’s woes continued with an 8-5 loss to Texas on Monday – although 5 runs marked a relative outburst by its recent standards. The Yankees had scored a combined 3 runs in its 2 previous outings. Now they have to face Nathan Eovaldi, who is 9-3 with a 1.49 ERA, 0.89 WHIP and 105 strikeouts to just 20 walks in 103.0 innings.
Fortunately for the visitors, Will Warren is getting along quite nicely at the moment. The right-hander has allowed only 3 runs in his last 2 appearances, spanning 11.2 innings. He faced Texas back on May 20 and fired 5.2 innings of scoreless baseball while mowing down 10 batters. Look for both offenses to be kept in check on Tuesday.
