The time has come once again where college football fans all over the globe are ready to kick off another season – Welcome to the beginning of a new College Football campaign. On Saturday, September 7th the second week of college football picks will begin as Pickswise, the home of free College Football Picks dives into the winning picks of Murray State Racers vs. Georgia Bulldogs.

Against the Spread Pick

This week two matchup will see the Georgia Bulldogs out of the SEC take on Murray State, who play in the FCS. Both teams had convincing wins in week one as Georgia beat Vanderbilt 30-6 and Murray State beat Pikeville 59-20. The Bulldogs racked up 481 yards against Vanderbilt in total. 325 of these yards were on the ground and just 156 yards were through the air. Murray State may have scored 59 points, but they are going to face a real opponent now. Seeing that Georgia really slowed down in the second half against Vandy, makes me believe the same will happen here. There really is no reason why the Bulldogs should be playing their starters in the second half. That said, I have to lean towards Murray State to cover at around +50. This is risky because we really do not know what Georgia will do once the game is out of hand. Therefore, this game should be bet extremely small or not at all.

Over Under Pick

The total is set at around 61.5 and I feel this number is a little too high. Georgia has a great defense and I do not see Murray State scoring at all or at most 7 points. Once Georgia has made their statement in this game, I think they will take their foot off the gas and not continue to run up the score. With all that said, I like the under to be the play here. This is a play that I would bet very small because there is a chance that UGA could still cover this total by themselves.
