Another successful week on DraftKings and FanDuel is in the books. Last week was a smaller slate of games, and with an average week this week, there will be a lot more options to choose from in week 14. As a result, ownership is likely to be spread out this week. This article will list the top quarterback, running back, and wide receiver options for DFS on DraftKings and FanDuel for week 14 of the NFL season.
Jacoby Brissett Goes Off Against A Weak Secondary
The Indianapolis Colts are in a fight for a playoff spot that will likely come down to the last week of the season, much like the previous season. The Colts haven’t had a flashy passing attack this season and have had a more balanced approach this season. However, this week, they are going up against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who excel at stopping the run but are weak against the pass. Tampa Bay is giving up the 2nd most passing yards per game and ranks 20th in passing yards allowed per attempt. The Colts are our pick in this game, and I look for Brissett to have a massive game against the Bucs on Sunday.
Alexander Mattison Steps Up in Cook’s Absence
Dalvin Cook was a limited participant in practice on Thursday, and even if Cook does play, he will have a limited workload. The Vikings are a double-digit favorite against the Lions, and it would be smart to rest Cook for this match-up as well. If that happens, Alexander Mattison will step up and look good in this offense. The Lions have one of the weakest run defenses in the NFL this season. Detroit ranks 23rd in rushing yards allowed per game and 18th in yards allowed per attempt. Mattison will have a massive day in DFS on FanDuel and DraftKings and is a must-start this week on both sites.
James Washington Lights Up the Cardinals Secondary
The Los Angeles Rams had a substantial passing day last week, just like we predicted. Robert Woods also had a monster day and was one of our recommendations in week 13. This week the Cardinals will be going up against the Steelers. Pittsburgh has gotten Washington more involved in the passing offense over the previous few weeks, and that should once again be the case on Sunday. Arizona is giving up the most passing yards per game this season and the 8th most yards per attempt. Washington is in line for a massive game on Sunday and is a must-start in DFS this week.
