NBA Prop Bets Today: LeBron James and Victor Wembanyama amongst best NBA Player Props for Monday

Like most Lithuanians, I started watching basketball from the age of six. I'm based out in London and played basketball at the University of Lincoln here in the UK. I had always had an interest in the NBA but things really took off in the summer of 2010. That year Linas Kleiza led Lithuania to 3rd place at the World Championships and signed with the Toronto Raptors to replace the departing Chris Bosh. I've been a Raptors fan since that day and I've not missed a game since. I've been handicapping games for more than a decade, specializing in player props. The NBA starts off the week with a strong 8-game slate on hand. It will include a clash between the top teams in each of the conferences as the Detroit Pistons take on the Oklahoma City Thunder. This could very well be a 2026 NBA Finals preview as both teams have been the standouts in their respective conferences this season. You can find our preview for that and all of the night’s other action from our experts’ NBA picks. But first, let’s break down our best NBA player props for Monday, March 30.

Best NBA player prop bet: LeBron James (LAL) over 9.5 assists (+100)

With Luka Doncic suspended for this game against the Washington Wizards, the playmaking responsibilities will have to be shared around the team. No player is better equipped to take on a bigger role here than LeBron James. The veteran is already in a fine streak of form, hitting 10 or more assists in 2 of his last 5 games. He came just 1 shy in an other. Tonight’s opponents are favorable too, considering that over the last 10 games they are 28th in opponent assists per game. They continue to be weak inside which is something the Lakers can exploit. I expect them to try and get Jaxson Hayes and Deandre Ayton the rock down low, and James to be the one supplying them.

NBA player prop pick: Khaman Maluach (PHX) over 1.5 blocks (+160)

This month, rookie Khaman Malauch has started to carve out a role for himself on the Phoenix Suns roster. One of the key ways in which he has been impacting the game is through his shot blocking. He has recorded 2 blocks in each of his last 2 games and will have a great chance to do the same once more against the Memphis Grizzlies. Over the last 10 games his opponents are down in 29th in opponent blocks per game. They have been playing small of late but that should not limit Maluach, who should be mobile enough to face these lineups. Over the last 3 games, the Grizzlies have allowed 5 different players to record 2 or more blocks and I expect the Suns center to follow suit.

NBA player prop bet: Victor Wembanyama (SA) over 4.5 blocks + steals (-130)

Over the last 10 games, the Chicago Bulls rank dead last in opponent blocks per game and 25th in opponent steals per game. This is exactly the type of opponent Victor Wembanyama should thrive against defensively. The last time these sides faced off he recorded 6 combined blocks and steals. He has also hit the over on this line in 3 of his last 4 games which included a 7-block and 3-steal performance against the Memphis Grizzlies. Over the last 10 games the Bulls have also been leading the league in pace. With the extra possessions that tempo looks set to create, the Frenchman should see no shortage of opportunities to assert himself defensively.
