Timberwolves vs Spurs is the lone NBA Playoffs game on Tuesday night, with the Knicks in full rest mode after sweeping the 76ers. Many believe the Spurs are lucky to have Victor Wembanyama for Game 5, after throwing an intentional elbow at Naz Reid. Will Wemby make a difference put San Antonio in the driving seat to clinch in Game 6, or can Minnesota pull off another road win? Let’s look ahead to my best NBA player prop bets for Tuesday, May 12. Best NBA player prop bet: Naz Reid (MIN) Over 20.5 points+rebounds+assists (-105)
Odds available at BetMGM at time of publishing
Apart from taking an elbow to the neck by Victor Wembanyama early in the first half, Naz Reid was exceptional for the Timberwolves in their Game 4 win. He closed the game for Minnesota, scoring 4 points and dishing off 2 assists in a 6-minute stint. He gives the Timberwolves size and shooting up front — a different look than Rudy Gobert provides. I’m expecting another hot performance from him tonight in a pivotal Game 5.

NBA player prop bet: Dylan Harper (SAS) Under 3.5 assists (-136)
Odds available at DraftKings at time of publishing
D’Aaron Fox being questionable heading into Game 5 is a concern when fading Dylan Harper, but under 3.5 assists is priced at -136 on DraftKings — over 30 cents better than FanDuel and other major sportsbooks. Harper should get his fair share of opportunities with the ball in his hands, but I expect Stephon Castle’s usage to tick up, with Wembanyama also eating up much of the usage.
