Week 5 of the 2025 NFL regular season is upon us, and it is highlighted in part by a Sunday Night Football showdown between the New England Patriots and Buffalo Bills. It is already the Bills’ third primetime game of the year and their first of 2 in a row (they will face the Atlanta Falcons on Monday Night Football in Week 5). Buffalo comes in with a 4-0 record, while New England is 2-2.

Here are my best TD scorer bets for Sunday night, and also be sure to check out our full Patriots vs Bills predictions.

Stefon Diggs, TE, NE (+265 at DraftKings)

Getting Diggs this far into plus money represents value that is too good to pass up. The 31-year-old has not yet scored a touchdown this season, but he is coming off his best game – 6 catches on 7 targets for 101 yards during a 42-13 rout of the Carolina Panthers. That performance should give Drake Maye and company a lot of confidence heading into Sunday night. The Bills have been stingy against the pass so far in 2025, but they have allowed 6 touchdowns through the air. Moreover, the Patriots figure to be playing from behind the whole way – so they will be inclined to air it out early and often.

Josh Allen, QB, BUF (-120 at DraftKings)

Allen has rushed for 3 touchdowns in his last 4 games against the Patriots. The reigning NFL MVP should be able to tack on at least 1 more this weekend. He is already playing like he wants to earn MVP honors for a second consecutive season, having run for 159 yards and 3 TDs through 4 weeks of the 2025 campaign in addition to 964 passing yards and 7 touchdowns. Allen is getting plenty of help from running back James Cook and others, but he often takes matters into his own hands. There is no reason why the 29-year-old can’t find the endzone himself on Sunday Night Football.
