The 2025 NFL season got started with a bang, as Week 1 certainly delivered some humdingers. Steelers vs Jets somehow produced 66 points in a phenomenal shootout, but it was another NFC North vs AFC East matchup that wound up being the game of the week — and perhaps the season — as the Bills pulled off a stunning comeback to beat the Ravens 41-40 on Sunday Night Football.

Best bet for NFL Week 2: Jacksonville Jaguars +3.5 over Cincinnati Bengals (-115)
Both the Jags and Bengals enter Week 2 with 1-0 records, but Jacksonville looked a lot more impressive in Week 1 and can take advantage of the famously slow-starting Bengals. Cincinnati escaped Cleveland with a narrow 17-16 win on Sunday, but the Bengals have lost in Week 2 in each of the last 6 seasons, and despite Joe Burrow claiming he felt better than ever heading into the season, his opening-week performance says otherwise. Burrow totaled just 113 passing yards while the Cincy offense as a whole had 141 total yards, completely outdone by the Browns’ 327 total yards. If Andre Szmyt could kick, the Bengals would have lost this game.
As for the Jags, they looked excellent in their 26-10 victory over the Panthers and Liam Coen’s offense really hit the ground running. Trevor Lawrence looked sharp as he got his array of receivers involved, while Travis Etienne put up a mammoth 143 rushing yards. Given Cincinnati’s struggles on defense, Jacksonville should have little trouble moving the chains and putting points in the board in this one.
Something still isn’t quite right in Cincinnati, and this Jaguars team is arguably being slept on as a potential contender this season. The Jags have great potential to win this one outright, so getting them to keep this within a field goal right now feels like a steal. I can definitely see this number moving to 3 and maybe even 2.5 by kickoff, so it’s worth jumping on it now.
