NFL Philadelphia Eagles vs Los Angeles Rams Same Game Parlay: Kyren Williams scores again at +1183 odds

Los Angeles Rams running back Kyren Williams (23) celebrates his touchdown scored against the San Francisco 49ers during the first half at SoFi Stadium.

One of the more exciting games in Sunday’s action-packed slate is a matchup between the Philadelphia Eagles and Los Angeles Rams. The Eagles are one of two remaining teams without a loss while the Rams are welcoming back Cooper Kupp to the offense. Let’s get into my Same Game Parlay, and be sure to check out our Philadelphia Eagles vs Los Angeles Rams predictions.

Rams +4.5 (-115)

Kyren Williams to score a touchdown (-120)

Rams team total under 23.5 (-116)

Same Game Parlay odds: +1183

Los Angeles Rams +4.5 (-115) over Philadelphia Eagles

This may be an unpopular pick, but I’m just not fully on board with the Eagles this season. Yes, Philadelphia is 4-0, but it’s been a very easy start so far with wins over the Patriots, Vikings, Buccaneers and Commanders. And it’s not like the Eagles have been blowing the bad teams out of the water either – their biggest win was by just 14 to the Bucs. In their other three wins, the Eagles won by less than a touchdown. Even last week, it took until overtime to beat Sam Howell and the Commanders. The Philadelphia defense doesn’t have the same scare factor that they did last season, and its secondary has been a huge weakness through four weeks. I think oddsmakers are overvaluing the Eagles, and underestimating the Rams.

The Rams are 2-2 after four weeks, but their two losses haven’t been “bad” losses. The first one came from San Francisco as Brock Purdy and the Niners won by 7 points at home. Their second loss came from the Bengals, which was more of a weird loss than a bad loss. But there’s a huge difference between the team the Rams had in the last four weeks and the team that the Rams will have in Week 5, and that’s because of Cooper Kupp. Matthew Stafford’s favorite target is back this week, so between him, Puka Nacua and Kyren Williams, the Rams have a great chance to complete the upset – or cover the spread at the minimum.

Kyren Williams to score a touchdown (-120)

Kyren Williams has become a touchdown machine. The Rams running back has five touchdowns after four weeks and has scored in every game but one. The only game he didn’t score in was during Los Angeles’ loss to the Bengals, but that seems like an outlier performance. In Week 4, Williams had 14 attempts and found the endzone twice. He will get around 15 carries each game along with a few short passes from Stafford, and I think the reason we are getting Williams to score at such a good price is because of Kupp.

It’s no secret that Kupp will take some of the looks away from Nacua in play-action passes, but Sean McVay has continued to say that Nacua and Williams will keep a large role. That makes me think the Rams will continue to give Williams the ball in the red zone, and he should be able to get his sixth score of the year.

Rams team total under 23.5 (-116)

This is the leg of the Same Game Parlay that shoots the payout through the roof. Combining the Rams to win and Williams to score correlates well, but adding in the Rams team total under goes against both of those picks. That’s why we’re getting a payout of almost 12/1. This pick not only helps the payout, but it also makes a lot of sense. The Rams have gone over this number in only 2 of their 4 games and average about this number for their season total. However, it took until overtime last week to go over this number. Plus, the Eagles defense — while not as good as last season — is still an above-average unit. I’m predicting a score of around 24-20 in favor of the Eagles, which would be ideal for this Same Game Parlay.
