Week 3 of the 2025 NFL season got started with the Bills holding off the Dolphins to move to 3-0, and now we can turn our attention towards what should be another wild Sunday slate of football. Last week we saw all kinds of carnage with high scores and last-minute victories, and this one is unlikely to be any different. Our NFL player props experts have started the season 12-5 after another winner in Dolphins vs Bills, and I’m looking to carry on that momentum with my 2 best NFL player prop bets for Sunday. Let’s break them down, while you can also find out our NFL picks for EVERY GAME in Week 3, with our experts currently boasting a 40-26 record so far this season.

Best NFL player prop bet: Jordan Mason (MIN) under 2.5 receptions (-104)

Odds available at DraftKings Sportsbook at time of publishing.

This is a bet that will either make me look very sharp or will award me the title of Donkey of the Day on Sunday. Jordan Mason is unequivocally the bellcow back on Sunday. Coach Kevin O’Connell reiterated that point in a recent interview and the Mason buzz is through the roof. He has an attempts line at 18.5 and is everyone’s darling of the week. In terms of his production in the passing game, however, I’m skeptical.

Mason won’t be the only RB we see as Coach O’Connell sang the praises of Zavier Scott in reference to ways to replace the loss of Aaron Jones. Scott is actually a WR turned RB so he may be better utilized in passing situations on Sunday. If it’s 3rd down and people see Mason running off the field, they may be going crazy, but this kid has great hands and will surely contribute.

I’ll end with this point — Mason has 17 receptions in his career and has never had a 3+ reception game despite being the bellcow in a similar situation when he was at the 49ers and Christian McCaffrey got injured. If he wants to hit this mark for the first time in his career, then good for him. But at -104, I have to take the under on this line. Let’s roll!

Best NFL player prop bet: Rachaad White (TB) over 21.5 rushing yards (-110)

Odds available at BetMGM at time of publishing.

This is mostly a gut play, but one I feel good about. I don’t think anyone would confuse Rachaad White for being a better back than Bucky Irving. With that being said, White impressed last week while rushing for 65 yards across 10 carries. I understand that in Week 1 he only saw 2 handoffs, but he deserves some extra handoffs after his Week 2 performance.

Additionally, Tampa plays against the Tyrod Taylor-led Jets. I see no need for them to run Bucky Irving into the ground in what should come as a relatively stress-free victory. White achieved 22+ yards in the 1st half last week and he should be able to reach that number again over 4 quarters here. James Cook just ran all over this Jets defense last week and now it is White’s turn to run through some holes.
