Following a wild and unpredictable Week 1 of the college football season, the SEC starts conference play this weekend when the Ole Miss Rebels visit the Kentucky Wildcats in Lexington. A season ago, Kentucky pulled off an epic upset of the Rebels on the road as massive underdogs, and it was the primary reason that Ole Miss missed out on the College Football Playoff. Folks in Lexington are expecting Lane Kiffin to be out for revenge this time around, and that might be the case, as the Rebels opened their season with a dominant win over Georgia State and the offense looked like it won’t miss a beat without Jaxson Dart. On the other side, the Wildcats slogged their way to a 24-16 win over Toledo, making it clear that their preferred path is defense and ball-control offense.

With so much intrigue in this Week 2 game of the 2025 college football season, an Ole Miss vs Kentucky Same Game Parlay is in order. Here are my favorite parlay picks for this matchup.

Ole Miss -8.5 (-110)

Under 50.5 (-110)

Harrison Wallace III over 44.5 receiving yards (-106)

Ole Miss -8.5 (-110)

Ole Miss boasts a roster full of transfers, as is Kiffin’s standard path these days, which always leaves some room for variance and questions. However, the Rebels still have one of the best wide receiver rooms in the country and after a slow start to the season opener, redshirt sophomore Austin Simmons threw for 341 yards and 3 touchdowns a week ago. Simmons also looked up to the task in limited action last season, most notably in a massive moment against Georgia where he showed great command of the offense. As for the Wildcats, their wide receivers had a total of 4 catches for 12 yards against a good Toledo defense, but one that pales in comparison to the talent Ole Miss has on that side of the ball. Under 50.5 (-110)

These teams approach the game very differently, with Ole Miss looking to play at a lightning quick pace, while Kentucky is more focused on grinding out the game. What points me in the direction of the under here is my lack of belief in the Wildcats on offense. After all, quarterback Zach Calzada finished with a paltry 85 yards in the air, and I don’t expect him to be much better this week against a much more talented defense. It is also possible that Kentucky actually can shorten this game with its run-focused play style, resulting in a 28-17 sort of scoreline where Ole Miss is comfortably in control from start to finish and covers the spread while the game stays under the total.

Harrison Wallace III over 44.5 receiving yards (-106)

To close out our Same Game Parlay for this weekend’s matchup, let’s focus on a new receiver to make an immediate impact for Ole Miss. Harrison Wallace III never quite had the juice at Penn State, but he seems to have immediately established a good rapport with Simmons and his talent was on full display a week ago, as the veteran receiver racked up 5 catches for 130 yards and a touchdown in the victory over Georgia State. Wallace appeared to be the deep threat in this receiver room, and all it takes is for him to haul in one explosive pass for our wager to cash on Saturday. Let’s add in this prop as a sweetener to our SGP.
