NFL Sunday Night Football looked pretty weak not too long ago, but now we’ve got a couple of red-hot teams colliding as the Vikings travel to Denver to take on the Broncos. Minnesota holds a 6-4 record having won 5 straight games, while the Broncos are getting back into the playoff hunt after winning 3 in a row, including against the Chiefs and Bills. Which team can continue its winning streak? You can read our Minnesota Vikings vs Denver Broncos predictions for the answer to that question, but for now, let’s dive into my favorite player prop bets for this crunch matchup.

Courtland Sutton (DEN) Under 54.5 receiving yards (-110)

Odds available at Bet365 at time of publishing.

This line feels a little too high for me, given Russell Wilson’s passing yards line is set at just 204.5. Despite regularly finding the end zone, Sutton has managed to go over this number just once in his last 6 games and only 3 times all season. Last Monday against the Bills, the SMU product had 8 receptions and still finished short of this number (53 yards), and that’s despite him also having a 30-yard catch. Now, Sutton will be lining up against the Vikings, who rank just outside the top 10 in yards per attempt allowed (6.3) and should be able to limit the receiver’s involvement.

Joshua Dobbs (MIN) Over 229.5 passing yards (+105)

Odds available at DraftKings Sportsbook at time of publishing.

The Joshua Dobbs story has been an incredible one this season and I’m expecting it to continue on Sunday night. Dobbs put up 268 yards against the Saints last week, and prior to that, he had 158 yards against the Falcons despite only playing for around 3 quarters and not knowing the playbook. Ultimately, he seems to have an instant rapport with this Minnesota offense and the potential return of Justin Jefferson would only enhance his chances of going over this number.

But what really appeals here is that this looks like a dream matchup for Dobbs. He’s already struck a great partnership with tight end T.J. Hockenson, and the Broncos have given up the most yards in the league to that position. Further, Denver is tied-2nd in the most passing yards per attempt allowed (7.5). All things considered, I like Dobbs’ chances of going over this modest number.
