One of the biggest games on Sunday’s MLB slate comes in Cleveland, where the Philadelphia Phillies will take on the Cleveland Guardians in an interleague matchup on Sunday Night Baseball. The Phillies have won 6 of their last 8 games, and are sitting just 1.5 games back of the New York Mets in the NL East. On the other side, Cleveland is fighting tooth and nail with the Tigers and Royals in the AL Central standings, and the Guardians could really use a series victory to keep up.

To add a little more excitement to this matchup, I have pieced together my Phillies vs Guardians Same Game Parlay picks at +417 odds. You can also get MLB picks on the side and total for Sunday’s big matchups.

Phillies team total over 4.5 runs (+105)

Zack Wheeler Over 6.5 strikeouts (-150)

Phillies team total over 4.5 runs (+105)

To start off our Phillies vs Guardians Same Game Parlay, we’ll go the Phillies to exceed their team total. Any time that Zack Wheeler takes the mound, I’m usually going to look long and hard at backing the Phillies to win that game. With that said, there’s just too much uncertainty with the Philadelphia bullpen to land on a full-game wager with the Phillies on the money line. Instead, I’ll turn to the team total with Philadelphia’s offense against Luis Ortiz (5.30 ERA, 47.2 % hard-hit rate, 13.2% barrel rate) and trust the Phillies ability to put up 5 runs at a plus-money price.

Zack Wheeler Over 6.5 strikeouts (-150)

We’re attacking a big number in the second leg of our Same Game Parlay with Zack Wheeler to go over his prop of 6.5 strikeouts on Sunday. Wheeler has long been one of the best pitchers in baseball and he has yet to show signs of slowing down, as he’s struck out 66 batters in just 51 innings pitched this season. It certainly helps matters that Wheeler (2.36 xERA, 33.3% strikeout rate) hasn’t faced the Guardians much in his career to this point, which should give him an edge on the current Cleveland lineup.

Jose Ramirez to record a hit (-195)

To wrap up our Phillies vs Guardians Same Game Parlay, I’m looking at Jose Ramirez to record a hit for the 9th time in the last 11 games. The Guardians third baseman has long been one of the best hitters in the game, and he’s recorded a whopping 13 hits over his last 9 games played heading into this contest. Ramirez has been a machine this series, racking up 4 hits over his last 7 at-bats, and even if he’s unable to get on base against Wheeler, the Phillies bullpen leaves a lot to be desired. Ramirez should have plenty of chances to grab another hit, so let’s use this as our third leg for our SGP.
