Arsenal’s lead in the English Premier League has been cut to 2 points following last week’s defeat to Aston Villa and the Gunners can ill-afford to take things easy against winless Wolves on what is another busy weekend of fixtures. Here are all of our expert soccer picks for the weekend action in England, with the odds available at DraftKings Sportsbook at the time of publishing.

EPL Best Bet: Everton Win or Tie double chance over Chelsea (+125)

Chelsea’s charge towards the top of the EPL has been curtailed by a defeat to Leeds and a draw at Bournemouth, and that leaves the Blues vulnerable when Everton visits Stamford Bridge on Saturday. While Everton were defeated 4-1 in a recent home game against Newcastle, they have won 4 of their 5 most recent outings, shutting out their opponents each time.

The Toffees have claimed 1-0 successes at Manchester United, where they played most of the match with 10 men, and at Bournemouth, and they should be backed to either tie or win at Chelsea as their only away losses have come at Manchester City and Liverpool since they fell at Leeds on opening weekend.

EPL Best Bet: Arsenal vs Wolves Over 3.5 (+135)

It is top against bottom at the Emirates, and it is difficult to see anything other than a comfortable win for leaders against Wolves, who have claimed just 2 points from their 15 matches this season. The visitors did at least score their first goal in 6 matches on Monday, but they were poor in a 4-1 loss to Manchester United, who had 26 shots at Molineux.

Arsenal lost 2-1 at Aston Villa last week and the team’s lead has been cut to 2 points, so we can expect the Gunners to be on the ball despite the fixture looking easy. Mikel Arteta’s team bounced back from that loss by beating Club Brugge 3-0 in the Champions League, and they should not take their foot off the gas, so expect goals.

EPL Best Bet: Sunderland vs Newcastle Both Teams to Score & Over 2.5 (115)

Sunderland and Newcastle are separated by just a few miles and the raucous atmosphere should be matched by a great game at the Stadium of Light. The home team has defied expectation by having a solid start to the campaign after gaining promotion last season, and while the Black Cats have won just 1 of their last 6 games, they have had a tough schedule with games against Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City.

The Wearsiders remain unbeaten in 7 home games, but there should be plenty of goals in this one as visitors Newcastle hope to build on the 4-1 win that was posted against Everton in their last road match-up. The Magpies drew 2-2 with Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League on Wednesday, and their last 8 league matches have also featured goals for both sides and over 2.5 successful strikes.

EPL Best Bet: Brentford ML over Leeds (+100)

Brentford has lost its last 4 matches, but Manchester City is the only visiting team to have won at the Gtech Community Stadium this season and that does not bode well for Leeds’ visit to west London. The Bees have beaten Newcastle, Liverpool and Manchester United on their own patch and should have too much for their Yorkshire opponents.

Leeds were boosted by a win over Chelsea and a draw with Liverpool in their last 2 matches, but the only road game from which they have earned anything came at bottom-of-the-table Wolves, so expect a home victory.
