Crystal Palace and Brighton have been footballing rivals for many decades, so an intense atmosphere is certain for Selhurst Park when the Eagles collide with the Seagulls on Sunday afternoon.
Palace won both meetings between these two sides last season, and the Londoners can be expected to have the upper hand this time, too, given they have conceded only five home league goals this term and are unbeaten at their Selhurst fortress.
Oliver Glasner has established himself as a hero with Palace fans and a 3-0 EFL Cup victory at Anfield last week strengthened that status. Palace look superb value to deliver more joy for their followers on Sunday.

Liverpool beat Real Madrid in the Champions League on Tuesday, but the Reds are definitely not playing to the same level they managed last season, and Arne Slot’s side appear extremely vulnerable for their trip to the Etihad Stadium.
City have won six of the last eight Premier League titles and Pep Guardiola’s men appear to be hitting the sort of stride which made them the dominant force in English football for many years. The form of Erling Haaland, who has scored 27 goals for club and country from August onwards, makes City warm favorites to win Sunday’s blockbuster.
