Rams vs Bears predictions & NFL Divisional Round picks
Kevin Rogers’ Rams vs Bears best bet: Rams -3.5 (-115)
Four of 6 road teams won during NFL Wild Card weekend, starting with the Rams’ 34-31 victory at Carolina. Although Los Angeles failed to cover as 10.5-point road favorites, the Rams avenged a 31-28 defeat to the Panthers from late November. Los Angeles squandered an early 14-0 lead, but QB Matthew Stafford hit TE Colby Parkinson for the go-ahead score in the final minute, marking the 4th lead change in the final quarter. The Rams travel to frigid Chicago on Sunday night, where temperatures are expected to be below 20 degrees during the day and around 6 degrees at night.
Chicago rallied from a 21-3 halftime deficit to stun Green Bay 31-27 for the franchise’s first playoff win since 2010. The Bears scored 25 points in the fourth quarter, highlighted by a pair of TD passes from QB Caleb Williams in his playoff debut. The former top pick finished with 361 passing yards and 2 TDs, marking his first 300+ yard passing performance of the season. Chicago somehow came back in spite of not creating a takeaway after leading the league at +22 in turnovers in the regular season. The Bears have won 7 of their last 8 games at Soldier Field since falling apart in the season-opening defeat to the Vikings.
For the 2nd straight week, the Bears are listed as a home underdog and the Rams are a road favorite. LA posted a 5-2 ATS mark as a road favorite, including the blowout of Jacksonville in London. The 2 non-covers came as a favorite of more than a TD in losses to Atlanta and Carolina, but all 5 covers came by at least 10 points. The Bears have put together an 8-2 ATS record in the role of a dog, including a 2-0 ATS mark at home. The Rams aren’t used to the cold, but let’s back the road favorite here to advance to the NFC Championship.
Kevin Rogers’ Rams vs Bears total prediction: Under 48.5 (-110)
The weather will be frightful on Sunday evening at Soldier Field, hovering around 6 degrees. That doesn’t automatically call for an under, as both teams are coming off high-scoring affairs in the Wild Card round. The Rams topped the 34-point mark for the 5th time in the last 6 games in the 34-31 roller-coaster victory over the Panthers last Saturday. Los Angeles is in the midst of a 7-game over streak and owns an 11-7 over mark this season. Chicago rallied to stun Green Bay, 31-27 last Saturday night, marking the 4th time the Bears have scored exactly 31 points. The Bears have cashed consecutive overs only twice this season, with the last instance coming in Weeks 8 and 9.
Chicago hit the over in the season opening loss to Minnesota, but proceeded to finish under the total in 6 of the final 7 regular season contests at Soldier Field. The under was on its way to cashing in the Wild Card matchup with Green Bay, trailing 21-6 going into the fourth quarter on a 46.5 total. However, the NFC North rivals combined for 31 fourth-quarter points, including 25 from Chicago to cruise to the 2nd over in 3 matchups. Chicago’s defense was sliced up by Green Bay QB Jordan Love, who threw for 323 yards and 4 TDs. The Bears allowed the 4th-most yards per game in the regular season at 361.8, and gave up 227.2 passing yards, which sat 22nd in the league.
The total is sitting at 48.5, as the Rams are 5-2 to the over in their last 7 games with a total of 48.5 or higher. The Bears were 2-2-1 to the over on totals of more than 48.5, but were 2-1 to the under at home. Los Angeles has lit up the scoreboard this season and especially the last 6 weeks, but after seeing both teams put up incredible scoring results in the Wild Card round, let’s lean towards the under in this chilly Chicago matchup on Sunday night.

Rams vs Bears player prop bets
Prop Holliday’s best Rams vs Bears player prop pick: Davante Adams (LAR) to score a touchdown (-120)
Adams was relatively quiet in his return last week for Super Wild Card Weekend: 5 receptions for 72 yards despite seeing 13 targets. Although the cold is going to be a factor on Sunday evening, I’m rolling with the battle-tested former Green Bay Packer to come through for us and get in the endzone. He has 8 playoff touchdowns in 12 total games and a favorable matchup against the Bears. Chicago employs man coverage at the 10th-highest rate and Adams sees the seventh-biggest difference in success between zone and man. The Bears have also allowed 14 receiving TDs this season to opposing WRs, which ranks 31st in the league. This is the moment Adams was brought in for, and I expect him to cash one for us in the frigid weather like he did in Green Bay all those years ago.
Prop Holliday’s Rams vs Bears player prop bet: Caleb Williams (CHI) over 0.5 interceptions (+100)
Williams has been very good at protecting the football this season in terms of interceptions — only 7 total on the season. However, there is a trend for when his interceptions are occurring: 6 of the 7 have come against teams ranked bottom half of the league in blitz rate (the eighth was against Baltimore, which was ranked 14th — so just above that threshold). The Rams rank 31st in terms of blitz rate (only 17% of snaps), as they do a very good job getting pressure with just their front 4. Williams will see more defenders drop back in coverage than he is accustomed to on Sunday, which should increase the opportunity for him to be picked off. It does help that it will be 15 degrees at kickoff, which could lead to a few balls bouncing off receivers’ hands — putting them up for grabs in the Rams’ secondary.

Rams vs Bears TD scorer best bet: Kyren Williams (LAR) anytime touchdown scorer (+125)
Much of the talk surrounding this game has involved the forecast, and the extremely cold temperatures and windy conditions in Chicago immediately steers me away from taking any receiving or passing props on Sunday. With that in mind, we can expect Sean McVay and the Rams offensive coaching staff to lean into running the ball early and often. That’s where Kyren Williams comes in, as the Rams running back should see plenty of work against a poor Bears run defense that ranks 24th in EPA per rush allowed per Sumer Sports. The Notre Dame product has racked up touchdowns in 14 of his 18 games played this season, so let’s back Williams to keep this trend going and find the end zone on Sunday.
Rams vs Bears TD scorer prediction: Colston Loveland anytime touchdown scorer (+200)
One of the most important developments in the developments of the Bears’ passing game over the second half of the season has been the emergence of Colston Loveland at the tight end spot. The Michigan product has 6 touchdowns on the season, with all of them coming from Week 9 onward. Loveland has formed a good rapport with second-year quarterback Caleb Williams, and that certainly translated into the Bears first playoff game against the Packers a week ago, in which Loveland finished with a whopping 8 catches for 137 yards. This followed up a pair of performances against the Lions and 49ers that saw the rookie finish with a combined 16 catches for nearly 200 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Let’s stick with the host hand on Sunday at this price.

Rams vs Bears parlay pick: Puka Nacua to score a touchdown (-115)
Nacua has scored at least 1 touchdown in 4 consecutive contests, including 2 in a Week 16 overtime loss at Seattle. He finished the regular season with 10 TDs before catching 10 of 18 targets for 111 yards and 1 touchdown during a 34-31 victory at Carolina. Nacua also rushed for a score in the wild-card round. Playoff success is nothing new for the BYU product, who made 9 receptions on 10 targets for 181 yards and a TD during a 2023 wild-card loss to Detroit.
Rams vs Bears parlay pick: Colby Parkinson to score a touchdown (+235)
This should be a relatively favorable matchup for everyone involved in the Rams’ air attack. The Bears’ defense ranked #22 against the pass during the regular season and #28 in yards per pass attempt allowed, while surrendering 32 touchdowns through the air. Only 4 teams gave up more. Don’t be surprised if Parkinson takes advantage on Tuesday after he scored the game-winning TD at Carolina in the wild-card round. The tight end out of Stanford also scored twice in the regular-season finale against Arizona, so he is on an absolute heater. Matthew Stafford will have utmost confidence in Parkinson, especially in the red zone.
Rams vs Bears parlay pick: D’Andre Swift to score a touchdown (+160)
Swift scored 4 touchdowns in the last 4 games of the regular season. The former Georgia standout followed that up by rushing for a TD in last weekend’s 31-27 win over Green Bay. You could argue that it’s a surprise when Swift doesn’t score, so getting him all the way at +160 represents great value. Although L.A.’s defense is quite good in general, it has been gashed in recent weeks by Carolina, Seattle and Atlanta. When Swift faced the Rams during the 2024 regular season, he torched them for 165 yards from scrimmage and 1 touchdown.
