One of the biggest games on Tuesday’s MLB slate comes in the AL East, where the Tampa Bay Rays will take on the New York Yankees in a massive matchup in the AL Wild Card race. The Rays have been an extremely inconsistent team over the last few weeks, but Tampa Bay did pick up a very nice win in the series opener on Monday. On the other side, the Yankees are looking to bounce back following a disappointing run of form, which continued into the opening game of this series. To add a little more excitement to this matchup on TBS, I have pieced together my Rays vs Yankees Same Game Parlay picks at +470 odds. Under 8.5 (+100)
To start off our Rays vs Yankees Same Game Parlay, we’ll go with the Under 8.5 at plus-money odds. Max Fried will be starting for New York, and fortunately for the Yankees, the veteran boasts a stellar 11-4 record, along with a 2.62 ERA. Fried has faced the Rays twice this season and the Yankees ace pitched a combined 14.2 innings while allowing no runs on just 3 total hits in those outings. Fried has struggled more than usual in July, posting a 6.52 ERA over 19.1 innings. However, his success against the Rays this season gives me confidence in his ability to perform well on Tuesday.
As for Tampa Bay, Joe Boyle is making his 2nd start and 6th appearance of the season, where he’s allowed just 3 earned runs over 19 innings. While Boyle has been solid this season, facing a strong New York lineup on the road is a different level of challenge for the young pitcher. However, Boyle should still do enough to keep this game Under the total, especially with all-world slugger Aaron Judge sidelined for this one.

Jazz Chisholm to record 2+ total bases (+150)
For the second leg of our Rays vs Yankees Same Game Parlay, let’s go with Jazz Chisholm to record 2 or more total bases in Tuesday’s contest. The Yankees infielder has been in good form of late, and this matchup against a right-handed pitcher should be no exception. In fact, Chisholm has solid numbers against righties this season, racking up 17 home runs and 45 RBIs in that matchup to this point. While I don’t have a strong lean on either team winning this game, Chisholm has recorded multiple hits in 3 of his last 8 games played, while clearing this total bases prop in 4 of those contests. I’ll bank on another solid effort from Chisholm on Tuesday to bring home our SGP.
