Week 12 of the 2025 NFL regular season is upon us, and it is highlighted in part by a Sunday Night Football showdown between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Los Angeles Rams. It is another game against a playoff team for Tampa Bay following its loss against the Bills. a week ago, while the Rams are coming off an important win over the Seahawks and will certainly be looking to remain atop the NFC West standings. Here are my best TD scorer bets for SNF, and also be sure to check out our full Bucs vs Rams predictions.
Buccaneers anytime touchdown scorer best bet: Cade Otton (+265)
Odds available at DraftKings Sportsbook at time of publishing.
Despite suffering a number of key injuries over the course of the season thus far, the Buccaneers offense is in the midst of another very solid campaign and their success should continue on Sunday. While conventional wisdom would point me to the Tampa Bay receivers in this matchup, the Rams defense has been vulnerable against tight ends this season, and that’s where Cade Otton fits into the Buccaneers offensive game plan. Otton has 37 catches for 381 yards on this season, and he should flourish against a Los Angeles defense that surrenders over 50 yards per game to opposing tight ends. Given the fact that the Rams have allowed 5 touchdowns to tight ends through their first 10 games, let’s back Otton to find the end zone for the first time this season.
Rams anytime touchdown scorer best bet: Puka Nacua (-115)
Odds available at FanDuel Sportsbook at time of publishing.
This rise of Puka Nacua has been well-documented and the BYU product is now one of the best wide receivers in the NFL. Nacua thrives in this system and has a clear rapport with Matthew Stafford, which has translated into plenty of touchdown catches over the last few seasons. Nacua is still the most important player in this offense, and he should see plenty of work against a depleted Buccaneers secondary that just got worked by Josh Allen and a very weak group of wide receivers in Buffalo in that loss a week ago. Given the fact that Nacua has racked up a pair of touchdowns in his last 3 games played, and 4 touchdowns in his last 6 games played, I’ll go back to the well with the Rams’ best weapon on offense.
