Texas A&M’s run of home games is over, as the undefeated Aggies head to Death Valley in Baton Rouge, Louisiana for a date with the LSU Tigers under the lights at 7:30 pm on ABC. It will be the third road game for the Aggies in as many weeks after playing 4 straight at home, and their third overall following wins at Notre Dame and Arkansas.
Meanwhile, LSU returns home having lost at Vanderbilt as a short road underdog. It was the first time LSU was an underdog against Vandy since the 1940s, and ended up being the 2nd loss in 3 outings for the Tigers — as they also lost at Ole Miss at the end of September. Even in wins, LSU hasn’t looked cohesive, and now sitting at 5-2, College Football Playoff hopes may be on the line.

Rueben Owens II (TAMU) anytime TD (-145)
With Le’Veon Moss on the shelf for a few weeks, sophomore RB Rueben Owens III has taken full control of the Texas A&M backfield. He has touched the ball a least 16 times in each of the last 3 games, finding the endzone once against Florida 2 weeks ago and twice against Arkansas last week. Given his workload and Texas A&M’s offensive prowess to this point, there’s no reason to think Owens wouldn’t be a go-to option in the red zone again this week — even if the Aggies are going against a stout LSU defense on the road in Death Valley.
The Tigers were gashed to the tune of 239 rushing yards last week by Vanderbilt, as the Commodores averaged 5.3 yards per carry. Potentially without Whit Weeks again, Owens and the Aggies are in line to replicate what Vanderbilt did to the Tigers in Nashville.

Trey’Dez Green (LSU) anytime TD (+210)
At 6’7” and 240 pounds, LSU TE Trey’Dez Green is an absolute monster. His usage was limited and he missed some time earlier this season, but Green has really shown up over the last couple weeks — accumulating 17 targets and grabbing 13 passes for over 190 yards and 2 touchdowns combined against South Carolina and Vanderbilt. His 3 receiving touchdowns are tied for the team-lead with Zavion Thomas, who has found paydirt just once over the last 3 weeks. With Green healthy, expect QB Garrett Nussmeier to look his way often in scoring range against a Texas A&M defense that was pieced up for 40+ in both of its road games at Notre Dame and Arkansas.
