It’s all tied up at 1-1 between the Oklahoma City Thunder and Denver Nuggets in this Western Conference semifinal series. They are heading back to Denver for Game 3 after the Nuggets took Game 1 in Oklahoma City and the Thunder hit back to dominate on Wednesday. Will the underdogs regain the upper hand on Friday, or will OKC seize control? Let’s break down our Thunder vs Nuggets Same Game Parlay picks at +431 odds, which tips off at 10:00 pm ET on ESPN. You can also find out our NBA picks for that game as well as Cavaliers vs Pacers tonight.

Jalen Williams Over 1.5 made threes (-122)

Thunder vs Nuggets Same Game Parlay odds: +431

Part of the value in a Same Game Parlay, of course, is that all of its components can be correlated if you so choose. That is the entire plan here, as OKC forward Jalen Williams draining a couple of 3s would obviously work well with the Thunder covering in addition to the over cashing. Let’s break down all of the SGP legs.

Oklahoma City Thunder -5 over Denver Nuggets (-110)

Following a late collapse in the series opener, Oklahoma City bounced back in a big way on Wednesday. The home team humiliated Denver 149-106, so it’s safe to say that order to the proceedings has been restored. It may not be as easy in Denver, but we don’t need the Thunder to win by 43 points; we just need them to win by more than 5. That should not be too much to ask of the best team in the NBA, which left every other Western Conference team in the dust by at least 16 games in the regular-season standings.

Soon-to-be NBA MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has scored at least 31 points in 4 consecutive contests after going for 34 in just 30 minutes on Wednesday. Of the 2 best players on the floor, SGA has a lot more help than Denver big man Nikola Jokic. I expect OKC’s depth and all-around firepower to once again be way too much for the Nuggets.

Over 232.5 (-108)

The game total for the series opener was 230 and that proved to be 10 points too low, as Denver prevailed 121-119. It did not adjust at all for Game 2, which produced 255 points. Following those 2 shootouts, the number has climbed to 233.5. But – as the first 2 scores suggest – it probably isn’t high enough. The sample size of high scores between these 2 teams is even larger than this conference semifinal series, as the regular season saw them square off 4 times and deliver at least 230 points on 3 occasions (including 1 game with 246 and another with 267). There is no need to overthink this one. Gilgeous-Alexander, Jokic, Jamal Murray and the rest of the offensive stalwarts involved in this matchup are likely to light up the scoreboard once again.

Jalen Williams Over 1.5 made threes (-122)

Williams has drained multiple three-pointers in 3 of the last 4 games. He failed to reach that mark in Game 2, but keep in mind that Oklahoma City won by 43 points and there were not exactly a lot of high-leverage minutes played by the starters. In fact, Williams logged only 26 minutes in total (by comparison, he averaged 37 in the last 3 contests against Memphis and played 31 in Game 1 against Denver).

Moreover, this should be a favorable matchup for the Thunder in terms of three-point shooting. The Nuggets gave up 14 triples per game during the regular season (11th-most league-wide) and was 6th-worst in opponents’ three-point shooting percentage (36.5).
