The Denver Nuggets are looking to secure their 4th straight win against the Minnesota Timberwolves and punch their ticket to the NBA Western Conference Finals. With just 1 game on deck tonight, let’s dive into my favorite NBA player prop bet for Nuggets vs Timberwolves. You can also check out our full Nuggets vs Timberwolves predictions on the side and total.

Naz Reid, MIN, Over 9.5 points (-120)

Odds available at BetMGM Sportsbook at time of publishing

Sixth Man of the Year winner Naz Reid was a big part of the Timberwolves’ success down the stretch when Karl-Anthony Towns went down with an injury. Since the all-star break, Reid averaged 16 points per game on 46% from the field and 40% from three-point range. Now in the NBA postseason, with Towns and Rudy Gobert healthy, Reid has seen his minutes dwindle, but I’m expecting a solid scoring game out of him when his name is called.

In the 4th quarter of Game 5, Reid played the last 7 minutes for Jaden McDaniels after he failed to knock down 2 wide-open three-pointers. With Mike Conley’s injury tag still in question, Nickeil Alexander-Walker is seeing a ton of time on the court. Alexander-Walker can defend Jamal Murray, so if the Timberwolves want to go with Reid more over McDaniels, that luxury is there. Nonetheless, getting a price of -120 on this player prop while FanDuel is down to -130 is good enough for me. I’d also consider betting on Reid 15+ points at +390 odds.
