It’s a tough day for the NBA. We have just 2 games to wager on with MLB Opening Day and the Sweet 16 taking center stage on Thursday. However, I’ve assessed the lines on tonight’s NBA action and have found a player prop bet with value. Let’s dive into my favorite NBA player prop bet today, while you can also check out our NBA picks for today’s action.

Zion Williamson, NOP, Over 25.5 points (-122)

Odds available at FanDuel Sportsbook at time of publishing.

In the absence of Brandon Ingram, Zion Williamson is answering the call. Against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday, Williamson scored 29 points and dished out 10 assists, with 7 coming in the 1st quarter. His sky-high usage rate of 31% consisted of shooting 10 of 17 from the field and making 9 out of 10 free-throws.

Williamson and the New Orleans Pelicans will welcome the Milwaukee Bucks into town as 1-point underdogs with a total of 224.5 points. As much as the Bucks have shown glimpses of being solid on the defensive end under head coach Doc Rivers, they still rank as a bottom-10 defensive unit in terms of defensive efficiency in March.

Williamson scored 23 points in less than 30 minutes the last time these 2 teams faced off. Brandon Ingram was active for that game and scored 26 points on 18 field-goal attempts. I expect Williamson to dominate the ball and score at will to compensate for Ingram’s usage.

The over of 25.5 points is available on FanDuel, while almost all other major books have turned to 26.5. Look for FanDuel to join in the coming hours.
