NBA Sunday calls for 9 games on the slate with action starting at 3:10 E.T. Let’s dive into my top NBA player prop bets.

Make sure you also read our NBA predictions for today’s matchups.

Malik Monk, SG, SAC, Over 16.5 points (-106)

Odds available at FanDuel Sportsbook at time of publishing.

Malik Monk is near wrapping up the 6th Man of the Year Award. Since the All-Star Break, Monk is averaging over 18 points per game and shooting 45% from the field on 16 field goal attempts. When De’Aaron Fox takes a seat, and Monk checks in, the offense turns to the Domantas Sabonis and Monk show. The two work exceptionally well together off dribble handoffs and ball screens.

The Sacramento Kings will host the Houston Rockets on Sunday, who are allowing 114 points per game in their last 10 games. The books have this game as the highest total of the slate at 233 points. In a potential shootout and close game, I expect Monk to close the game out over Kevin Huerter and continue to see an uptick in volume.

Tobias Harris, PF, PHI, Under 29.5 points+rebounds+assists (-102)

Odds available at FanDuel Sportsbook at time of publishing.

As the 76ers #1 option, Tobias Harris has been a disaster without Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey. They’ve dropped their last 3 games without Maxey and have entered play-in territory. It won’t get any easier on Sunday. They’ll take on the Knicks on the road, who are 7.5-point favorites and seeking the return of Jalen Brunson.

The Knicks will counter Tobias Harris with either Josh Hart and have the rim protection of Precious Achiuwa and Isaiah Hartenstein. The Knick’s top 5 defense in the last 5 games, mixed with their league-low pace of play during that span, has this total at just 211 points. So, naturally, we will fade the #1 option on a struggling offense.
