The NHL enters the weekend with a nice 6-game slate on Friday night. The first puck drops at 7:00 pm ET at Madison Square Garden as the Ducks visit the Rangers. Potentially the best game of the night will follow shortly after as the Bruins battle the Islanders at 7:30 pm ET. We have a pair of player prop bets for each of those matchups, which you can find below. In addition, make sure you read our NHL predictions for tonight’s big games.

Artemi Panarin Over 0.5 goals (+120)

This is a lopsided game in favor of the Rangers, no matter how you slice it. The Rangers have the 3rd-best point percentage in the NHL and have won 8 of their last 10 games at home. The Ducks, meanwhile, have dropped 12 of their last 13 games and their last 6 straight on the road. If this game goes the way oddsmakers and fans alike expect it to go, the Rangers should run up the score on the Ducks. That being the case, Artemi Panarin has a great chance to continue to produce at an elite level.

Panarin leads the Rangers in goals with 16, assists with 23, and points with 39. Any offense this team generates will likely go through Panarin. He is by odds the most likely player in this game to score and gets a very favorable matchup to do so. Getting plus-money odds is fantastic value.

Charlie Coyle Over 0.5 points (-120)

This should be a great game. The Bruins are obviously a juggernaut once again and the Islanders are buzzing over the last couple of weeks. In a game that could be very close for 60 minutes with a thin margin of error, each team’s top players will likely get even more ice time than usual as the game progresses. Being 3rd on the Bruins in points, Charlie Coyle will be one of those players the team leans on in a close game.

Coyle currently centers Boston’s second line between Brad Marchand and Trent Frederic. He is also on the team’s second power play and logs an average of nearly 18 minutes of ice time per game. These teams have played once this season in a game where the Bruins won 5-2, and Coyle had a goal and 2 assists with a +3 rating. In what should be a great game, look for Coyle to continue to be that reliable center and produce on a great team.
