Week 6 of the college football season is nearly here, and Friday presents another opportunity for bettors to jumpstart their bankrolls ahead of Saturday’s massive college football slate. There aren’t many games on the schedule, but we have enough games on the slate to assemble a parlay consisting of a few of our favorite bets of the evening. Here are our NCAAF parlay picks for Friday, October 3, and don’t forget to check out our college football predictions for all of Week 6’s mega matchups.
BYU -19.5 (-118)
New Mexico ML (+116)
Charlotte +28.5 (-110)
NCAAF Week 6 Friday parlay odds: +661
BYU Cougars -19.5 over West Virginia Mountaineers (-118)
While it’s hard not to question the legitimacy of this BYU team from a long term perspective this season, we can only look toward the Cougars in Friday’s matchup. Freshman quarterback Bear Bachmeier has turned out to be quite the success and the BYU offense should be able to see success on the ground and through the air against a very poor West Virginia defense (98th in points per drive allowed, 117th in quality drive rate allowed). On the other side of the ball, the West Virginia offense is an absolute mess at the moment, and the Mountaineers will also be without quarterback Nicco Marchiol due to a foot injury. Look for BYU to choke the life out of the Mountaineers in a game that should be a routine victory for the Cougars.

New Mexico Lobos ML over San Jose State Spartans (+116)
San Jose State was expected to be a dark horse contender in the Mountain West this season, but that has certainly not been the case thus far, as the Spartans are 1-3 and struggling to find any sort of momentum through the first month of the campaign. Things won’t get any easier for this San Jose State team against a New Mexico side that is absolutely rolling at the moment. After all, the Lobos have won 3 straight games, and their only loss was against Michigan on the road in Week 1, where New Mexico still covered the spread with ease. Given the fact that San Jose State’s offense is outside the top 100 in points per drive and the defense is outside the top 100 in a myriad of metrics, including EPA per play, let’s take New Mexico to win outright on Friday.
Charlotte 49ers +28.5 vs South Florida Bulls (-110)
The final leg of our parlay is not for the faint of heart, but we can’t get there with laying over four touchdowns with South Florida in a game where the Bulls will likely just be looking to get out of dodge with a victory and move on to bigger games on their AAC schedule. Yes, quarterback Byrum Brown is electric and he should find plenty of open spaces to make big plays against this porous Charlotte defense. However, we can expect Alex Golesh to refrain from running his quarterback all that much given the slate of games that South Florida has on deck, specifically a date with North Texas next week. In an obvious look-ahead spot with a massive game on the horizon, we’ll take the points with Charlotte.
