Washington Huskies team total over 34.5 (-115)
This game isn’t one that should grab many national headlines, but the Washington offense is in a great position to finally break out after a couple of sloppy performances in Big Ten play to this point. Rutgers’ offense is probably the best unit the program has had in over a decade. However, while the offense is massively improved, the Scarlet Knights have been very poor on defense to this point, allowing an average of nearly 30 points per game to its FBS opponents thus far.
In steps Demond Williams Jr. and a Huskies offense that is 11th in success rate, 2nd in quality drive rate and 6th in 3rd and 4th down success rate. With weapons all over the field and finally getting the benefit of another travel traveling out to Seattle, this should be an instance where Washington flexes its muscles a bit and gets to 35+ points.

North Texas Mean Green ML over USF Bulls (-108)
There’s no doubt that South Florida has been impressive to this point, as quarterback Byrum Brown has remained healthy through the first 6 weeks of the season, a stark contrast to what we saw a season ago. However, despite the fact that Brown has been able to remain healthy, the South Florida offense has been underwhelming on a down-to-down basis in recent weeks. In fact, for the season, the Bulls are just 98th in success rate, 89th in points per drive and 72nd in EPA per play. They’ll be in for a tough task against a North Texas defense that is 21st in passing success rate allowed, 25th in EPA per rush and 9th in Early Downs EPA per CFB-Graphs.
On the other side of the ball, North Texas quarterback Drew Mestemaker leads a North Texas offense that is inside the top 20 in a variety of metrics, along with sitting inside the top 10 in points per drive and quality drive rate. South Florida’s defense is certainly improved up front, but this is still a unit that ranks outside the top 70 in success rate, while sitting at 63rd in quality drive rate and 3rd and 4th down success rate allowed. There’s lots to like about both teams in this game, but North Texas feels like the slightly stronger side at home on Friday.

Fresno State Bulldogs vs Colorado State Rams Under 47.5 (-115)
The final leg of our parlay is not for the faint of heart, but we can’t get there with going over the posted total in this Mountain West showdown between Fresno State and Colorado State. Things have gone from bad to worse for Jay Norvell and the Colorado State Rams this season, and it would surprise me at this point if the Rams made a bowl game in a couple of months.
However, Fresno State has been extremely fortunate to this point in the campaign, especially when looking at the box scores of some of the Bulldogs’ wins (games against Nevada and Oregon State come to mind). Niether of these offenses inspires any confidence in me and both teams should look to keep the ball on the ground throughout this contest. With that in mind, the under is the only way we can look.
