Week 9 Fantasy Football Trade Targets

It’s week nine of the NFL season and there are players who are a good value that you can trade for, and players you might want to trade away on your roster to get max value. Let’s break down some of each below in our Fantasy Football Trade Targets

Players to trade for

Marlon Mack Running Back Colts

It might be too late to trade for Marlon Mack because people who own them might not want to get rid of them, but if he is on the trading block in your league, go get him.

He is finally healthy and finally staying on the field. In each of the last two games he has rushed for at least 100 yards and a touchdown.

If he can stay healthy you can expect that from him each week.

Aaron Jones Running Back Packers

Aaron Jones might be another guy that is hard to trade for, but if you can get your hands on him, go for it. It’s clear that Aaron Jones is the number one running back for the Packers and with Ty Montgomery traded away, his role will only increase. Against the Rams he rushed 12 times for 86 yards and a touchdown. It is risky having a Packers running back but I think Aaron Rodgers wants a running game established so he will push to get Jones more touches.

He is a guy that can really help you come playoff time once the weather gets cold in Green Bay and they really try and run the ball more. I would give up a lot to get Jones on your roster.

Players to trade away

Jarvis Landry Wide Receiver Browns

If you have Jarvis Landry trade him away now. In a PPR league, Landry’s stats look good the last two weeks. Last week he had 11.9 fantasy points but most of those were on short passes. He only finished with 39 yards receiving and it’s clear he just doesn’t have a chemistry with Baker Mayfield. If you can get some good value back for him, I would trade him away.

Eric Ebron Tight End Colts

Eric Ebron has some impressive stats so far this year with 36 receptions for 394 yards and seven touchdowns. The big problem for him is that those stats mostly came when Jack Doyle was out with injury.

Doyle is back now which means Ebron is a tight end two again. He might still be an okay option, but he isn’t going to have the stats like he did the first part of the year. This is a perfect time to sell high and take advantage of someone who doesn’t know the Colts tight end situation.

James White Running Back Patriots

James White has had a nice season but even with Sony Michel out, he wasn’t the starting running back, that job went to Cordarelle Patterson.

He has had a nice season out of the backfield but it’s risky having a starting running back be dependent on needed catches. If you can get a starting running back who gets more touches a game I would roll with him.
