The tennis season’s 3rd Grand Slam is upon us, as Wimbledon is set to begin on Monday, June 30 in London. Jannik Sinner (Australian Open) and Carlos Alcaraz (French Open) split the first 2 major titles and have shared the last 6 at 3 apiece dating back to the start of 2024. They are massive favorites to continue that streak at the All-England Club, but challengers such as Novak Djokovic, Taylor Fritz and more cannot be discounted. Let’s take a look at the Wimbledon odds and our Wimbledon men’s singles best bets to be made.

Wimbledon tennis best bet: Jannik Sinner (+200)
Alcaraz continued to master his matchup with Sinner by winning an epic French Open final earlier this month, giving him 4 consecutive major titles on natural surfaces (2 French Opens on clay, 2 Wimbledons on grass). However, the 2nd-ranked Spaniard has no value at +115 when you can get Sinner at +200.
Even though Alcaraz is the 2-time defending Wimbledon champion, he is arguably more dominant on clay than he is on grass. And it cannot be forgotten that Sinner had triple-championship point in their recent Roland Garros showdown. The world #1 should have won. Sinner pushed Djokovic to 5 sets at Wimbledon in 2022 and reached the semifinals in 2023, so he already has a history of success at the All-England Club. There is no reason why he can’t go all the way this time.
Wimbledon tennis prediction: Taylor Fritz (+5000)
Fritz could not have asked for a better draw. The 5th-ranked American landed in Alexander Zverev’s section, which is where everyone wants to be – because it means you avoided Sinner, Alcaraz and the quarter of the bracket with Djokovic and Jack Draper. Fritz has defeated Zverev 5 times in a row (including at Wimbledon last summer); needless to say, he would have to like his chances if they meet in the quarterfinals. Already a 3-time champion of the ATP tournament in Eastbourne, Fritz simply loves playing on grass. It should also be noted that he reached the US Open final in 2024, so he is no stranger to success on the big stage. A first slam title would not be as shocking as these odds suggest.
Wimbledon tennis longshot pick: Jakub Mensik (+10000)
If you are in the business of a longshot play, Jakub Mensik could be the move. The Czech is only 19 years old, but he is already a Masters 1000 champion after upsetting Djokovic in the Miami final this spring. It feels like Mensik is a major champion in the making. Sure, it’s unlikely to happen this soon, but +10000 odds are tough to pass up. With an absolutely huge serve and extremely flat groundstrokes, Mensik’s game should work to perfection on grass. The world #17 is in the toughest section of the draw, but it could actually work in his favor if Draper loses early to Alexander Bublik and Djokovic gets taken out by Alex Michelsen or Alex de Minaur.
