Ducks vs Sabres Pickswise Expert Predictions

Game Totals Pick
Over 6.5(-130)

The Anaheim Ducks continue their road trip with a stop in Buffalo to face the Sabres. After a fantastic start to the season, the Ducks have hit a rough patch, losing eight games in a row and allowing just under five goals per game. The main issue has been their goaltending, but the defensive structure has also been problematic. While their offense has struggled recently, they still average over 4 goals per contest. On the other side, the Sabres have been one of the best teams in the league since making a change at the general manager position. They have a record of 13-5-2 at home and currently occupy a Wild Card spot. Their turnaround has been impressive, but the question remains: can they maintain this level of play? Their goaltending has been solid, but they will need their offense to perform well tonight. If they can generate quality scoring chances, they should be able to find the back of the net. Given the Ducks’ defensive struggles, it’s not unreasonable to expect the Sabres to score 5 or 6 goals.
