Luckily, the Oilers are playing in one of the weakest divisions we’ve seen in the NHL in a long time, and their opponent on Saturday, the Anaheim Ducks, leads that division.

The Oilers were in a bad spot when they went to Florida and lost both games to the Panthers and Tampa Bay Lightning, but back-to-back wins against the Utah Mammoth and Vegas Golden Knights shed some light on their chances going forward. For the first time in a long time, the Oilers looked like a team that could make some noise in the playoffs, and beating the Ducks would give them an added boost of confidence.
