Bruins vs Mammoth Pickswise Expert Predictions

Boston Bruins
Money Line 3-Way Pick
UTA Mammoth(-130)

The Boston Bruins continue their road trip out West with a stop today in Utah. The Bruins are playing their second game in as many nights and their third in four. A matchup against Colorado on the road is always tough, but that game was one-sided right from the start. Boston couldn’t generate any kind of sustained pressure, and if it wasn’t for Jeremy Swayman, it would have been a lot worse than the final score. Are they going to be able to turn things around tonight? I wouldn’t bet on it.

For Utah, they come into tonight having won two in a row and have outscored their opponents 9-4 in that span. Those wins came against Calgary and San Jose, but regardless, a win in the NHL is a win. Their top-6 is generating a high number of scoring chances, but it’s their defensive game that is beyond impressive. They are allowing just 2.20 goals per game and limiting opponents to just 21 shots against. That is quite the accomplishment for a young team that is missing Sean Durzi. This won’t be a blowout, but the Mammoth are heavy favorites and rightfully so. Look for them to take care of business in regulation.
