The Chicago Blackhawks continue their road trip with a stop in Seattle to take on the Kraken. Chicago has struggled so far on this trip — losing both games by a combined score of 9-5 — and things don’t get any easier tonight. The Blackhawks are an improved team from last season, but their offense is just not elite. Although Frank Nazar and Connor Bedard are going to be great NHL players, you can’t count on 2 kids to lead the way at such a young age.

For Seattle, its offense is even worse than Chicago’s. The Kraken are scoring fewer than 3 goals per game, averaging fewer than 24 shots — and their penalty kill is operating at 67.9%. Despite all of that, they are 3-0-2 on home ice. Joey Daccord gives his team a chance to win every night, and the same can be said for Spencer Knight. If both goalies get the call for their respective teams, then we should see a low-scoring affair. While the Under is very much in play, I will take a stab at the Kraken to take care of business on home ice.
