Oilers vs Kraken Pickswise Expert Predictions
The Total for this game opened at 5.5 but has since moved to 6. It’s interesting to see the increase despite neither team being an elite powerhouse offence. We know the Oilers have the two best players in the world in Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl, but most of their success has come on the powerplay. The Kraken will need to stay disciplined, or this game gets out of hand in a hurry.
Speaking of the Kraken, they are 2-0-0 on home ice and sit second in the Pacific Division. It’s early in the season, but it’s still nice to see for the fans. The main reason for their success has been the play of Joey Daccord, who sports a 4-1-1 record, a 2.56 GAA and a .911 SV%. Those are very respectable numbers for any goalie. On the other side, Stuart Skinner has a 2.17 GAA and a .909 SV%. Both goalies have above-average numbers, so this could end up being a much closer hockey game than many expect. We’ll take a small lean on the Under and hope for a tight-checking affair.
Under 6.0 available at the time of publishing. Playable at that number or better.
