Los Angeles Kings
Puck Line Pick
EDM Oilers -1.5(+155)

The Edmonton Oilers return home with a 3-2 series lead and are looking to punch their ticket to the next round. Los Angeles had a 2-0 series lead and has squandered it dramatically. They didn’t play well in Game 3 and Game 4, and were dominated on home ice in Game 5. Now they have to do something they weren’t very good at most of the year — win games on the road.

Edmonton has won 3 in a row and is now rolling. Calvin Pickard has been decent, but it’s the dominance of Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl that has helped get the team to where they are now. You knew from the start that those 2 wouldn’t go down without a fight, and we are seeing that happen in real time. This game might be close, but the Oilers have been rolling, and they are finding ways to score goals late with the Kings having no answer. We might need an empty-net goal to cover the puck line, but at these odds, I believe it’s a risk worth taking.

Kings vs Oilers prediction: Oilers -1.5 (+155) available at time of publishing. Playable at that number.
