The Los Angeles Kings are travelling to Vancouver to face the Canucks for the second time this season. Vancouver has lost three consecutive games and shows no signs of turning things around. The team is simply trying to run out the clock on a disastrous season, with a home record of 8-24-5 and an average of just 2.53 goals per game. Once they fall behind, it’s typically game over for them. Could they pull off an upset tonight? Perhaps, but that would certainly surprise many people, including Canucks fans.

On the other hand, the Kings are four points behind Vegas for the final playoff spot in the Pacific Division, but they haven’t made a strong effort to secure that position. They’ve lost four games in a row and continue to struggle to score. The coaching change they made has not had the hoped-for impact; despite acquiring Artemi Panarin, victories are still elusive. The Kings have a solid road record of 18-9-10 this season, so this seems like a game they *should* win. I’m betting on them to cover the Money Line in regulation, considering how crucial this game—and every subsequent game—is for them.
