Predators vs Blackhawks Pickswise Expert Predictions

Money Line Pick
CHI Blackhawks Win(-115)

The Nashville Predators make their first trip of the season to Chicago to take on the Blackhawks. It’s been another difficult season for the Predators, who sit at the bottom of the Central Division. They are coming off a 6-3 victory against Detroit, but before that, they had lost three in a row and were outscored 15-3. Not only can this team not score goals, but they can’t defend or get good goaltending.

For Chicago, it’s been a rough last few games. They have lost 4 in a row and are sliding down the standings. If there’s some positive, it’s that they were able to score some goals against Minnesota, and they held the red-hot Avalanche to just one goal. They are still a young team learning how to win hockey games, but there has been progress, and they are a good team on home ice. They are slight favourites at home, which is more than fair. In all likelihood, this comes down to a battle between the goalies, so we’ll back Spencer Knight and the Blackhawks because he gives his team a chance to win every time he’s in action.

Predators vs Blackhawks Prediction: Chicago Blackhawks ML (-115) available at the time of publishing. Playable at that number or better.
