Ottawa Senators vs Minnesota Wild Prediction, Odds and Picks for Today, 12/13/25

The Wild made shock waves through the hockey world on Friday night as they acquired superstar defenseman Quinn Hughes from the Canucks. Rightfully so, they paid a hefty price to do so. Due to the price they paid, in this game they will be without Marco Rossi, Zeev Buium, and Liam Ohgren. Buium and Ohgren have been in Minnesota’s lineup during their torrid stretch while Rossi is a key forward that has been on the IR.

With respect to Ohgren, the big loss for this game specifically is Buium and more broadly, Rossi. That is, at least, until the Wild return to a new, full-strength roster with the addition of Hughes. The Senators are hurting a bit themselves, but this is a great get-right spot for them against a Wild team that is vulnerable for precisely a single game while they figure their new roster. Look for a big effort from the Senators to string together consecutive wins on Saturday.
