Money Line 3-Way Pick
PIT Penguins(+130)

The Seattle Kraken travel to Pittsburgh to take on the Penguins for the first time this season. Pittsburgh is playing its second game in as many nights and is hoping for a much better performance. The Pens fell 5-0 to Minnesota and were just never able to get anything going. They have played very well on home ice, so there is reason to be optimistic. They also have a deadly powerplay, operating at a 32.6% success rate this season.

The Kraken come into this matchup as one of the lowest-scoring teams in the NHL. They don’t generate a ton of offensive chances, so it’s not shocking to see them be unable to find the back of the net. They also have one of the worst penalty kills in the league, clicking at under 70%. If the Kraken get into penalty trouble, they will be unable to handle Pittsburgh’s elite man advantage. Their goaltending probably won’t be able to save them. This game is likely to be close, but the Penguins are a better overall team and they can bounce back. We’ll steal some value and take them to come away with the win in regulation.

Kraken vs Penguins prediction: Pittsburgh 3-way ML (+130) available at time of publishing. Playable at that number.
