The Seattle Kraken continue their road trip on the East Coast with a stop in Tampa Bay to take on the Lightning. Seattle has lost four consecutive games and currently sits six points behind Vegas for the final division spot. Their offence has been below average all season, and while that trend continues, the goaltending is also starting to falter. They have allowed four or more goals in three of their last four games, including six goals to the Lightning back on March 17th. They need to end this losing streak quickly, but it may not happen tonight.

On the other hand, Tampa Bay has won four of its last five games and scored six goals in three of those matches. They are performing at an elite level offensively, and with most players healthy, we are starting to see the team’s full potential. The Lightning are three points behind the Sabres for the division lead, so we can expect them to play with a lot of energy and intensity against Seattle. On paper, this matchup is a clear mismatch in both offensive and defensive capabilities, so Tampa Bay should be able to secure a win and cover the Puck Line.

Kraken vs Lightning prediction: Lightning -1.5 (-115) available at time of publishing. Playable at that number or better.
