Edmonton Oilers vs Vancouver Canucks Prediction, Odds and Picks for Today, 10/11/25

The Edmonton Oilers and Vancouver Canucks meet for the first time in a game that should be very competitive. Edmonton looked in control in their first game against Calgary– getting out to a 3-0 lead– just to have it all fall apart and lose 4-3 in a shootout. As usual, Stuart Skinner didn’t put together a strong performance. If the Oilers want any chance of making it back to the Stanley Cup Finals, they are going to need a goalie who can step up and make key saves.

Vancouver took advantage of a tired Flames team and came away with a 5-1 victory. They also limited their opponent to just 18 shots on goal. It was a strong performance by Vancouver, but the task tonight is going to be much greater. Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl are the two best players in the world, and the Canucks don’t have a ton of offensive depth. If this game becomes a shootout, Vancouver isn’t coming away victorious. We don’t know who will start in goal for the Oilers just yet, but regardless, we’ll trust that everyone has learned an early-season lesson and take them to cover the Money Line in regulation.
