Golden Knights vs Oilers Pickswise Expert Predictions

Money Line Pick
VGS Golden Knights Win(+115)

The Edmonton Oilers return home from a 5-game road trip to host the Vegas Golden Knights on Sunday night at Rogers Place. The Golden Knights are coming off back-to-back losses to the Devils and Flames, but they should be in a solid position to find the win column in this one. Edmonton suffered a tough blow earlier this week when Tristan Jarry went down with a lower body injury. He was placed on IR, and his timetable for a return remains unknown. Now, the Oilers’ goaltending situation has plenty of question marks. Connor Ingram is expected to be recalled from AHL Bakersfield to make his first NHL start of the season in this one. He’s struggled at the AHL level, posting a less-than-ideal .856 save percentage to go along with a 4.40 goals-against average.

Vegas was held scoreless in the final 2 games of their Western Conference Second Round matchup against Edmonton in May, but this matchup could be a different story. Edmonton’s goaltending situation is worrisome at the moment, so Jack Eichel, Mitch Marner and company should take the ice with plenty of confidence. Vegas has been strong on the road so far this season, owning a 9-3-5 record away from T-Mobile Arena. Consider backing the Golden Knights in this one.

Golden Knights vs Oilers prediction: Golden Knights ML (+115) available at time of publishing. Playable at that number.
