Minnesota came so close to coming back home with a 3-2 series lead, but their late goal was overturned due to a missed offside. Vegas took care of business in overtime and now has a chance to close out this series. This series has been very good, and neither side has had a shortage of offense.
The total for this game opened at 5.5 and could increase as we approach puck drop. The Over has hit in 4 of the 5 games in this series, so it’s interesting to see the number open this low. Vegas does have very good goaltending, but Adin Hill has struggled at times to keep the puck out of his net. The Golden Knights also weren’t a very good team on the road. Minnesota has the skill up front to fill the net, and I expect them to come out strong right from the start. We’ll take the Over with an expectation that both teams have a reasonable number of opportunities to score.
