Game Totals Pick
Over 6.0(-120)

The Winnipeg Jets travel to Carolina to take on the Hurricanes for the final time this season. Winnipeg has lost 3 in a row and are looking to put an end to this losing streak now. The Jets have struggled immensely to keep the puck out of their own net since Connor Hellebuyck went down due to injury. Eric Comrie has done his best, but it’s not to the level of the 2-time Vezina Trophy winner. They have a difficult matchup against Carolina, one that could see things get out of hand in a hurry.

The Hurricanes have lost 2 in a row and are looking to change things in this game. They average 33 shots per game– ranking them top-5 in the league– so they should be able to get a decent amount of shots on Comrie. We don’t know who will start for them in goal, but if it’s anyone other than Pyotr Kochetkov, they are at a disadvantage. He’s the only goalie on the roster with a SV% above .900, despite the team allowing under 26 shots a game. Winnipeg has some punch offensively, so both teams could be in for a high-scoring affair.

Jets vs Hurricanes Prediction: Over 6.0 (-120) available at the time of publishing. Playable at that number or better.
